Kettlebell Training Workshop

What are the 3 workshops?

  1. Pilates and the Foam Roller Workshop (2½ hours)

What is this workshop all about?

  • This workshop is very practical.
  • We will discuss the theory behind the roller and how it originated
  • You will learn how to use the Foam Roller in an exercise workout program and we will provide you with an exercise program flow to address the whole body
  • You will learn to practice myofascial release techniques (massage)
  • All the exercises will be taught so that you can repeat them on your own or on clients
  • Exercises are categorized to start with a Warm Up, followed by Pelvic work, Abdominals, Arm Work, Spinal Articulation, Bridges, Full Body Work, Lateral Flexion and Rotation, Back Extensions, a Cool Down and lastly Myofascial Release Techniques (self -massage)
  • There is a total of 37 exercises – with modifications and variations – that you will learn in this program!

Foam-Roller-Workshop

  1. Suspension TRX Training Workshop (2½ hours)
  • This workshop is very practical
  • We will explain what the buzz phrase “Functional Training” is
  • We will discuss the theory around the TRX and how it originated
  • You will learn how to use the TRX in an exercise workout program and we will provide you with an exercise program flow to address the whole body
  • You will learn how to use the TRX for both strength building and flexibility work
  • All exercises will be taught in a way in which you will easily be able to remember the movements so that you can repeat the exercises on your own or on your clients
  • Exercises are categorized to start with a Warm Up, followed by Upper Body exercises, Lower Body exercises, Abdominals, Back and a Cool Down, and Stretches that addresses the whole body
  • There are about 30 exercises – with modifications and variations – that you will learn in this program!

TRX-Training-Workshop

  1. Kettlebell Training Workshop (2½ hours)
  • This workshop is very practical
  • We will discuss the theory around how kettlebells originated and how and why it found it’s way into the fitness world
  • You will learn how to fit the kettlebell exercises into a workout, depending on the ultimate goals
  • You will learn how to use kettlebells in an exercise workout program and we will provide you with an exercise program flow to address the whole body
  • You will learn how to use the Kettlebell for both strength building, endurance and cardio work
  • All exercises will be taught in a way in which you will easily be able to remember the movements so that you can repeat the exercises on your own or on your clients
  • Exercises are categorized to start with a Warm Up, followed by Upper Body exercises, Lower Body exercises, Abdominals, Back, and a Cool Down, and Stretches that addresses the whole body
  • There are about 25 exercises – with variations and modifications – that you will learn in this program!

Kettlebell Training Workshop

Who will benefit from these workshops?

This workshop is for qualified Pilates instructors and personal trainers or anyone else who would like to learn more about how to use any of the three props above in a safe way in their daily workout programs. This knowledge can be used to the benefit of both the instructor, trainer, and fitness enthusiast.

What knowledge will I gain from this workshop?

On completion of this course, everyone will be able to implement these exercises into their fitness regime.  Every participant will get a program flow and exercises will be taught in a specific flow so that you start en finish with the right sequence of exercises.  Safety is a big aspect and exercises will be varied and modified, depending on fitness levels.

What is the date, time and cost of this workshop?

The 3 courses will be held on Saturday the 17th of November as follows;-

  • Pilates and the Foam Roller is at 08h00 to 10h30
  • Suspension training (TRX) is at 10h45 to 13h15
  • Kettlebell training is at 13h30 to 16h00

The cost is R790 per workshop, Vat inclusive.  TRAINING NOTES & PROGRAM FLOW IS PROVIDED.

How do I sign up?

The sign-up process is very easy, simply go to our Workshop page on our website and select the APPLICATION button and complete the application form.  Then deposit 50% of the cost of the course to secure your booking.  The balance is payable on the 1st November 2018.
